Receiving Taxotere from Maryland and D.C. Treatment Centers

If you have received Taxotere, there are quite clearly a variety of locations in Maryland and the D.C. area from which you may have gotten it. Since around one-quarter of a million women are diagnosed with breast cancer yearly, hundreds of chemotherapy infusion centers are found throughout the United States to treat these patients. Even within the state of Maryland and the city of D.C., there are many more facilities equipped to administer chemotherapy drugs such as Taxotere. In many cases, even at cutting edge hospitals with chemotherapy oncologists doing research in their field, information about Taxotere’s potentially toxic side effects was not disclosed by Sanofi-Avetis, the pharmaceutical company that produced the drug. Doctors are not able to do their job effectively if they are not given all the information by the companies which produce the drugs they prescribe.
